The Ancora duo was formed in 2008 by award-winning soloists Anne Allen and Sarah Freestone and have just released their debut CD ‘Entrada’. They regularly perform recital programmes around the UK and abroad as well as being asked to play for many weddings and corporate functions. |

Anne Allen studied at Cambridge University and the Royal Northern College of Music. Performing internationally, she has played in all the major UK venues as well as Europe, the Far East, Africa, Russia and South America. She has also performed on Radio 3, BBC TV and Sky TV. Having spent a great deal of time in hospital recovering from a bone tumour, a highly valued side to Anne’s career is performing for the charity Music In Hospitals which brings specialized entertainment to the ill and elderly within the community.
